As both a foreigner and a woman, Reinoa has had to find ways to stand out from the crowd while in Faranin. Hailing from the continent of Magnicolis, an isolated and dangerous land known by few in her new home, she has overcome misfortune, mistakes, and betrayal to carve out a difficult existence in her new, strange home. Ingenuity, strength, and a willingness to take risks have kept her afloat and secured her a ship and crew of her own. The arrival of Commander Faren and his people effectively destroys all she had accomplished, while simultaneously making her realize how much she dislikes this existence, and longs for the purpose-filled life she once had, and which traveling with Faren offers again.
